INTRODUCTION
Oreca was founded in 1973 by Hugues de Chaunac, who still is the company's chairman. Over its 35-year-long history, the Oreca team has won in every motor sports category and has achieved over 380 victories.
With the support of important sponsors like Elf and Marlboro, the Oreca racing team continuously introduced most of the French drivers in Formula 1. From Jacques Laffite to Franck Montagny, via Alain Prost, Patrick Tambay, Jean Alesi, Jacky Ickx, Hubert Auriol, Yvan Muller, etc, Oreca has always been considered a genuine "talent school".
Starting with about a dozen employees working in Formula 2 in 1975, Oreca has had a team of about forty at the arrival nearby the Paul Ricard circuit and today, after the takeover of COURAGE Competition's activities, there are over 200 staff members working on four strategic locations (Le Castellet, Magny Cours, Le Mans and Paris).
Thanks to Hugues de Chaunac, Oreca has grown from a racing team to a real motor sport company which is based on six skills:

Oreca operates and own their own fleet of Formula 1 Cars for your driving experiences! You will be custom fitted into one of the most advanced cars ever built by engineers. You will have the chance to feel what drivers like Lewis Hamilton and Michael Schumacher do on a daily basis!
These cars are capable of fitting speeds in excess of 280km/h! You will be lost for words when you struggle to come to grips with the sheer power and grip that a Formula 1 car can put out.

A Grand Tourer Car is a high-performance automobile designed for long-distance driving. Grand Tourers differ from typical sports cars in that they are usually larger, heavier and tend to make less compromise in comfort for the sake of driving ability.
You will be able to drive a GT Cars that is race prepped by the professionals from Oreca. You will be custom fitted into the car and you will feel the power just by sitting in the car! After being strapped in and being briefed about the program, it is time to race!
You will learn:
- How to push yourself and the car to the limit, to reduce your lap times greatly.
- Positioning of the car on track
- Weight transfer and how it affects the handling
- Oversteer and understeer, what they are and how to correct or solve them
- When to apply the power and how this affects the overall corner speed and balance of the car
- When and how hard to brake
- Racing lines, for the dry and the wet
- Vision and how important it is to be looking through the corner
- Heel and Toe, for downshifting properly
- Individual track secrets, which would normally take years of experience to find out
