Day 1A: Accelerated learning curve in performance driving. Work up to racing speed with on-track and class instruction. Driving dynamics in steering, acceleration, braking and cornering. Focus on racing line.
Day 1B: (Must be Day 1A graduate)
Extensive racing line instruction with a one-on-one instructor/student lead and follow driving session, observation and timed session. Increase your speed with practice and expert guidance.

Advanced students looking for additional challenge and aspiring racers wanting to prepare for competitive karting can step up to our TAG Kart courses. The program takes you from fundamentals to intensive competition training intended to ready you for racing.

Parents and Child
Geared to first-time drivers aged 10-14* with a minimum height of 4'8"**, our Parent/Child classes offer the same instruction and track time as our Day 1A/B and Day 2 Sprint programs but with lower speeds and fewer students for more personalized instruction. Students will start by learning basic saftey and kart familiarization, then progress toward more advanced skills like learning the racing line, complete kart control, braking techniques and ultimately race starts and passing. Parents are eligible to drive in these classes with their child for added confidence and to make the introduction to performance driving a family experience.

The race series runs twice per year. Race dates and locations are tentative and subject to change based on weather or track availability. The Spring Race Series is normally run the first weekend of the month from February through the first weekend in June. The Fall Race Series is normally run the second weekend of September and the first weekend of October through January. Please check the website schedule to verify actual dates. (Races are scheduled on the first weekend of each month unless it is a holiday weekend, in which case the race is delayed by one week).
Race practice is scheduled for the Saturday afternoon before each race day, so you can familiarize yourself with various karts and practice lines in four timed sessions. Instructors are available to provide feedback to help you reduce lap time.
