These programs are great for race fans or corporate groups and they also make a great gift. Students drive our rear engine (ZZ572 cid / 720R hp Chevy) dragsters, the same ones we use in our Super Comp classes however we slow them down significantly. The Adventures are designed to be fast, affordable and fun. Even though we slow the cars down, they still run 100 mph in 7 seconds in the 1/8 mile and 120 mph in 11 seconds through the quarter-mile.
Tuition includes instruction, 2 eighth-mile runs and 2 quarter-mile runs and all of the driver's safety equipment will be provided
Super Classes
Price: USD 1795
The Super Comp and Super Gas courses are our most popular programs for both experienced and beginning drivers. Compared to these super class cars the fastest and most powerful passenger car on the market is like driving a baby stroller. Even if you can handle a Viper or turbo Porsche, your first run in this dragster will be absolutely astonishing.
These two day courses include classroom instruction, progressively faster runs down the strip and video review of your runs. Those new to drag racing will learn basic techniques and procedures. Experienced racers will master the mental challenges that separate winners from losers. Age, size and gender are immaterial: the race car puts everyone on an equal footing. The winning difference is your ability to control yourself in a challenging environment.

The program starts with classroom instruction, driving equipment fitting and safety instruction. This is followed by an introduction to the cars and their controls. After a "warm up" procedure in the pit area, you'll move on to the track. Each session will be recorded on video tape and by the Racepak computer. Then you'll participate in a classroom review after each track session. You'll begin by making a short "launch" from the starting line and will progress to longer runs as your skill and confidence increase. We emphasize the individual in all of our courses.
Each student progresses at his or her own ability and pace, no one is rushed or held back by the progress of the other drivers..
Pro Stock Motorcycle

Like all our courses, this course starts with classroom instruction, equipment fitting and safety instruction. This is followed by an introduction to the motorcycles and their controls. This prepares you for burnout practice and the runs, which we do in progressive lengths. Following every riding session, you will return to the classroom to watch your performance on videotape and receive individualized instruction. You will also learn how to analyze your performance from the Racepak computer tape.
We emphasize the individual in all our courses. The Pro Stock Motorcycle class size is limited to give you the maximum "hands on" instruction. Each student progresses at his or her own ability and pace, no one is rushed or held back by the progress of the class. Every student receives the same number of runs regardless of the size of the class.
This course is open to those who have high performance motorcycle riding experience and a valid state motorcycle license.

At Frank Hawley's Drag Racing School Reaction Time Clinics we teach you the psychological and physiological aspects of mind and body that will enable you to improve both your reaction time and consistency.
We also give you information on how your car responds to the timing system. Do you know what the third beam is on the starting line? Do you understand rollout distance as it is related to stage position, physical rollout of the car, and how the actual rollout distance is affected by the trajectory of your car on the launch? Do you know how all of this affects your RTs and ETs? If you don't fully understand this and more, you are at a disadvantage every time you go to the starting line.
