INTRODUCTION

Allen Berg brings over thirty years of experience at the international level in the racing business, unprecedented in Western Canada.

Allen’s experience includes Formula One, Formula Two, Formula Three, Formula Atlantic,
Sport Prototypes and touring cars, winning over a quarter of all the races he entered during his twenty five year driving career. Allen also drove with and ran his own racing team, Scuadra Fortia,
in the North American Toyota Atlantic Series, played a pivotal role in organizing the Formula Renault racing series and was Chief Instructor for three years for BMW Mexico directing their "Fahrer Training" program. Allen has worked as Instructor for the Derek Daly Racing Academy, Skip Barber Racing Schools and Mosport Racing Schools. He also served as Chief Instructor for the Calgary Sports Car Club’s basic racing license Schools, instructing and evaluating up to seventy drivers
per program.

Allen Berg provide every customer with an authentic experience in racing. ABRS uses a fleet of race vehicles that are currently used on a regular basis in international competition, which is unique in the racing school industry.

Graduates of the 2 day programs have the qualifications to apply for an ASN Road Racing License.

To make your time with us truly unforgettable you can even take it away with you. For an additional fee, we employ in-car cameras, to provide a professionally edited video of your race school experience.

Each racecar is also equipped with radio communication allowing the driver to receive live feedback from ABRS instructors while in motion. Radios are now a common form of communication between drivers and their pit crew, and are another aspect of driving that the modern racing driver must become familiar with. Once again, this is something offered at ABRS that is not provided by other racing schools.

All ABRS racecars are powered by Fuel Injected 4 cylinder 1600 cc, manufactured by Renault, Formula One World Champions in both 2005 and 2006.

KARTING PROGRAM

Allen Berg Karts are world championship level racing karts, manufactured by the world famous CRG Karts of Italy. Just some of the drivers who have raced and won in CRG karts over the years include Michael Schumacher, Alex Zanardi, Lewis Hamilton, Ralf Schumacher, Kimi Raikkonen, Giancarlo Fisichella, Nick Heidfled and Nico Rosberg.

ABRS karts use purpose built TKM high performance engines, recognized leaders within the sport of karting for over forty years. TKM engines are thoroughbred racing motors powering our karts to speeds reaching 130 km/h. Imported from the United Kingdom, these engines are the first of their kind in North America.

All ABRS karts are equipped with Mychron onboard computers, mounted on the steering wheel, recording and displaying engine performance and the drivers lap times. Drivers will also benefit from onboard radios, allowing the client to receive live feedback while driving. This use of radios in karts is unique to ABRS and is not available at any other karting school in North America.

Have you ever wanted to try real racing but never had the opportunity because of lack of budget, mechanical knowledge, time or space restrictions? I know the feeling, it is certainly frustrating!

ABRS is introducing into Calgary the first ever Arrive and Drive kart racing program. This is exactly like it sounds, you arrive and the track and get to compete in an actual Calgary Kart Racing Club race event, in one of the official classes.

You will be provided with a kart, racewear, mechanical preparation and support in a “turn key package” that enables you to compete in an actual race event against experienced kart racing drivers.

With the Kart School immersing you in their expertise, there is certainly a high chance of winning. Think about it? Winning your very first Club Race! Awesome isn’t it?

This program is limited to graduates of the one day karting programs, who in the opinion of ABRS staff, show the capacity to be able to proficiently participate in an actual race event.
