The training proved to be an eye opener and it definitely gave me a new perspective on what it’s like to race professionally. Hi Vin,

First off, I have to say that the program was absolutely fantastic. I knew that it would be good, but this really blew me away. JP was a wonderful instructor and so was his brother. I feel like I have learnt so much from this program and must really thank you for arranging this for me. I especially liked the fact that I started off from the go kart to build up on the basics, moving on to the touring car and the Formula cars after. One thing that has stuck with me is, “If you want to go fast, you first have to learn how to go slow.” JP kept emphasizing that and I too believe in it. I really feel like doing another program in the future, do contact me if you have any race weekends for me to participate in.

The one word summary of my six racing laps and a few hours at the Gold Coast track - "awesome" - in bold, underlined and with emphasis.

From arrival to departure the experience was a great one. Reception was friendly and sharp - the lady on duty was good natured, well informed of the days programme and where I fitted into it and quick to get me hooked up with the "tour guide", my instructor.

He was sensational - explained the routine in detail, found a good place for my companions to watch the track, allowed them to sit in on the briefing. We geared up and went to the car and then the fun really commenced. It was exhilarating, exciting, and it was big fun. It was awesome.

I cannot thank the team at the track enough for the time they spent with us and the encouragement given to me and to the other clients that followed later in the day. I drove my six laps and we stayed on to watch others have their turn. I snared a bonus hot laps ride in the rear passenger seat of an SS Commodore that was the icing on the cake. I will be back there each time I return to the Gold Coast and in the meantime am checking out the options to drive here in NZ.

Hints to intending racers - don't muck around with three laps or being a passenger - drive the car; just buy the six laps as a sighter. Do those six and enjoy the buzz and then go back and buy as many laps as you can afford. Pay attention to your instructor and don't hold back - the cars handle incredibly well and the sensation of speed is illusory once you witness a professional driver in action. I know now that I could have gone much harder than I did on the day - I certainly will next time.

Nicolas Amiouni came to us with the aim to learn how to rally and improve his driving techniques. He has a Subaru WRX and has always wanted to do a performance program so that he would be able to exploit his car’s potential to its limits. Hence he told us he wanted a rally program with Subaru WRX’s specifically for the car. We advised him to take up a 4 day program of which the first 2 days would allow him to interact with like minded people in a group program with the usage of several different rally cars and the next 2 days as a 1 on 1 individual coaching program which would allow him to focus on improving and developing further the techniques he had already learn in a Subaru, the car that he wanted.

To start with the program was better than I expected. Fabrice Morel is a top notch instructor. He was fantastic and very eager to give me the best that I could acquire in 4 days. The hotel was fine, and the village is nice and very quiet. It was really great as a whole. My program was 2 days with other people and the last 2 days alone. The track is very technical. It was great.

Robin did his drive this morning. We drove up from Marbella yesterday. He thoroughly enjoyed his drive experience; he did his laps in the Ferrari 430 which he claimed was great to learn where to take the lines on a circuit. He then did 4 laps in the KTM ( they gave him 2 extra because he was doing so well) and he thought that was fantastic - so much so he actually spun the car!

A really great time - very well organized both by yourself and the people at the circuit.Thanks again. I would like to think he might do something similar again. I'd also like to.

Dear Daniel,

I was very pleased and as hoped this made a wonderful gift and by my observation was well received. At all times, the instructors were very encouraging and confident in inspiring Sarah. He was careful to accommodate her short stature in the Formula 4 cars with extra cushioning in the seat and was very kind to explain everything twice - once in Dutch to everyone else (which we understood sometimes) and again in English to be sure Sarah understood and had no questions.

The Lamborghini cars were of course excellent, with no complaints about their condition or performance. The facilities were comfortable and more than I expected from my previous times at some other tracks! I will (and have) recommended Global Racing Schools to my friends in the Netherlands - Dutch and English speaking alike.

I must stress that we were both very happy with the day and would not pass along either issue as representative of our lasting impressions. In my opinion, this was a very well organized event.

Dear Daniel,

I really had a great time on Aug 17th at the Circuit du Var! Everything was professional and very very well organized from the beginning to the end in a way one can feel safe and secure even in the first approach to those very demanding Formula 1 cars. The instructors were very kind and patient and made you feel like you could improve and even became a driver with the right application.

All the explanations given were extremely clear and comprehensive and given in a really polite manner. Briefing and debriefing very really useful. The cars were very good and continuously monitored to avoid any mechanical problem during the driving sessions and also the circuit is enjoyable with some technical points.

Also the driving session in F3 was very enjoyable and I am suggesting this experience to all my friends and to all the ones who like driving. Myself I will certainly come back and try to enlarge further my experience in F3 and F1.

I thought this could never be done but with a little push and so much guidance, I was lucky. I want to thank the person who has got me to the beginning of something great that could work out for me. Without him I’m sure I would go wrong somewhere, but he kept me on the right road and its all Thanks to "Daniel Charles".

The day began and I was the only Asian sitting in a classroom of about ten to fifteen people. The class began and not to long we were taken to the track for a drive in the Chevrolet Malibu's and later on we were asked to take on the special slide cars. The drives with those were smooth with me as I learnt them quick. Back to classroom to learn parts of the tracks and of the Race cars.

The next day we started with the Malibu's, slide cars and then we were put into the F2000 Race cars for a test to see if our racing lines were fine, but we all needed learning it and back to the class learning the racing lines and more. Each was assigned partners and I am glad to have another good driver as my team mate.

The third Day began and we started with the Slide cars and straight to the Race cars. This time we were allowed to pass on only the Stretch after turn 9. I noticed I was passing the other drivers quite fast and then i ended up in a spin at a sharp corner as I was too fast and in another spin later on that day. The 4th day came and it was the two days of advanced driving school. A professional race car driver joined in as well, as was put into my Group. I knew that was the driver I have to watch out on the track for and so I did. We got back to the classroom and were told the next day will be qualifying and two races which put a huge smile to my face.

The final day came and we were in a 10 min practice session to finally get everything together. Qualifying and I managed to own second place one the grid for race one.

The first Race began and I managed to be number one all the way through out until lap 5 when i was pushed off the track by another car. I still managed to stay 5th on the grid for the race two and managed to work my way up taking my second place back for race two.

I've learnt so much from this five day course that can help me through out every race that I encounter in the future. How to think, how to pass safely and quickly, how to perfect corners, how to learn tracks by oneself and so much more. The instructors told us at the class that we gave them a real competitive race. I was not to happy it was my last day there and being in those race cars. One of the lead instructors told me before I left that I did exactly everything that he would have done, which is filling up the mirrors of the Lead car all the way along through almost every lap. I couldn't explain what it was but I knew I had that something special and I can’t wait to perfect it.

Racing is a part of me since I was 10 years old, now I'm 25. Starting from cars, jumping into go-karts, then racing rally-cross and cross championships in Lithuania and Baltic countries to fulfill my racing abilities. But Formula racing is a dream - a dream that finally comes true this year when Global Racing Schools helped me to find what I really want and suggested the best program for me. We chose Formula-3 test run in ZIG-ZAR racing school, France.

The program in DU VAR circuit was great, 4 runs for 9 laps. After each run, I had clear and professional discussion with coaches about each lap and each corner, about the mistakes and enhanced my ability to run quicker. It really helped me to improve my lap times and to feel what is down-force and cornering with a Formula 3 car. When I came to the track I had 15 years of racing experience, but all the time I felt something was missing in my driving style. When I went for the first run with the Formula 3 car, it was clear to me that braking was my weakest part. Coachers confirmed that. I spent days to improve my braking experience and it works!

It is really a big pleasure to be there, and I hope to come back for more.

I just got back from Manila last night.

The training was fantastic! I learned alot during the 5 days. Karting has showed me the basics of braking, steering, acceleration control and the racing line. But it sure as hell is QUICK, EXPLOSIVE and punishing to the body at the same time. I had data logging sessions too, so that helped me improve really fast, as it told me where I could gain time and where I was losing some. In the first day at Carmona, I managed to shave off 15 seconds in 3 sessions, all because of data logging and disccussing with the engineers/instructors. Now I also know why all the best karters end up in Formula type racing.

I was more at home during the touring car program, the main obstacle being the left-hand drive. Once I got over that, the main points I had to work on were braking and when to start accelerating out of corners. Downshifting was all good as I was already doing it back in Singapore properly.

After the program, I understand what it takes to be competitive in racing and I still have alot to learn. But the good thing was that I was already employing some of the good driving habits in cars, so that helped alot during the touring car program. I didnt have to unlearn alot of bad habits, and learned quickly as I already knew the key points from practising in Singapore. So I moved through the sessions and got to do lapping sessions to put everything together. Every time I went out for some hot laps in the touring cars, I got more consistent in my lap times, and quicker at the same time. Mike noted I was doing very well in the touring cars, and JP said: "Its official, youre a touring car driver." Haha.

Karting is so tiring! Just one session (15 laps) in the karts at Carmona is more tiring than the 2 touring car days put together! Got so tired I lost focus and crashed once, ouch. Thankfully, no one or nothing was hurt.

We came back from Finland yesterday, we had a fantastic holiday, I could not have hoped for better.

The driving day was so good it was almost unreal, not only did Jonathan have a fantastic day being taught 1 to 1 by a Finnish rally champion, Kristian Sohlberg, but I got to go around the track driven by Juha Kankkunen first in a Bentley, then in a rally car. Towards the end of the day Juha Kankkunen drove me around the track behind Jonathan so I could take a video film.When we got back neither of us could believe it had happened.

The guide, Peter Finnas you found for us for the snowshoe walk was absolutely brilliant, he was really knowledgeable and taught us about the area, then he cooked lunch over an open fire in the forest. He was a very nice person and tried so very hard to ensure we had a great day. I would highly recommend this guide.

The snowmobile trip was also very good the guide started slowly to make sure we became confident, again we had lunch and on the way back we ended up going a lot faster especially across the lakes. The ice climbing was very hard, Jon did quite well but I am afraid I could only just get a little way up the ice face. I must admit however I am so pleased I tried and Jon says he would certainly like to do it again.

The night safari was fantastic in a very different way; we went out into the complete darkness only the stars no light from the village and spent half an hour just looking up at the stars.

All together I was an absolutely brilliant holiday and I can’t thank you enough for arranging it all. I do hope you will be able to help us again next year because Jon has said he will come back there with me just after New Year. I am sure this is thanks to you for organising such a package of activities.

Dear Daniel,

We have just came back to Jeddah from Italy where Yazan training on Jesolo Track for the Karting three days by Mr Christain Galotzi.

The training went very professionally and the instructor (as you have promised) was really very experienced trainer who started the training on the kart very specifically and then step by step on the mechanic part finishing the first day with many laps on Jesolo's nice track.

Yazan has a very good experienced with the KF1 with his instructor as well as the skilled German mechanic Stephen, and his skills as well as the track time went perfect day by day (with more than 7-8 second difference lap time between day one and day three) which is really perfect (as Yazan had previous experience and I personally didn't expect him to do better than 3 seconds) but because of the good training and supervision he was able to do so.

I wanted really to thank you as well as Mr Christian and Stephan for the perfect time Yazan (and I) had during the three days of Kart training, and wanted to see the opportunities to continue his training (maybe in Austria in Nov) as per the suggestion of Christian and our wish on different track.

I have seen the difference Yazan had with his skills which encouraged me to continue my investment with your professional Driving School training, but here I hope that the next training will end up with a race to see the overtaking skills that Yazan had and the results.

Once again many thanks for your time and great follow up, and Yazan and myself as well as my Family who joined us were really pleased by the nice professional environment and instructor in addition to the nice city and Solo track (especially with the good weather), Bali Hotel in solo were really great and neat and the staff were terrific.
